Parts of Utah under extreme weather alert for strong winds - fox13now.com

Areas in the "Northern Wasatch Front" are expected to see the strongest winds — they are under a high wind warning from 8 p.m.

"The strongest gusts are expected in the high wind prone areas around Centerville to Farmington in Davis County, and near canyons in Weber County northward," the warning stated.

These areas are expected to experience northeast winds of 20-30 miles per hour, with gusts up to 60 mph.

Pockets of blowing snow are also possible, and most of northern Utah is expected to see freezing temperatures Sunday night and Monday morning.

Washington County will also be under a high wind warning with similar wind speeds and the same possible dangers, but without the freezing temperatures.
