Phil Spencer Unaware Of Any ‘Destiny 2’ Halo Crossover, Talks Xbox Losing Bungie - Forbes

We are just days away from the Bungie 30th Anniversary Event that is going to take place inside Destiny 2, and players are still trying to parse what, if any, crossovers with Halo there may be, Bungie’s ex-series now run by 343 under Microsoft.

A rep for Bungie told Axios this week they preferred to keep the 30th anniversary content a surprise.”.

At this point, it seems pretty much impossible to imagine Microsoft reacquiring Bungie and turning Destiny and its future projects into Xbox-only offerings

And it sounds like he knows both how valuable Bungie is, and what they wanted to accomplish by spreading their wings outside the Xbox brand
