Placer County added to California’s COVID-19 watchlist - KCRA Sacramento

Placer County was added to California’s COVID-19 watchlist on Thursday, according to the California Department of Public Health.

The county was added to the list because its hospitalization rate and hospital capacity does not meet threshold criteria, state data shows.

Placer County saw a 36.4% increase in its 3-day COVID-19 hospitalization average and has 19.6% of ICU beds available.
