Queen to air address the same day as Harry and Meghan's Oprah tell-all - Page Six

Queen Elizabeth II will speak in a TV address on Sunday, March 7, ahead of Commonwealth Day, the same day Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s sit-down with Oprah Winfrey will air, according to reports.

Unlike last year’s Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey, which marked the final royal appearance for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, this year’s plans have been scrapped due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The TV special is also said to include prominent royals, including Prince Charles, Prince William and Kate Middleton.

“Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure,” CBS previously announced

The interview is said to be a “cause for concern” within the royal household, an insider previously told Page Six, notably for Harry’s older brother, Prince William
