Tropical system brings soggy conditions, flood threat across Upstate for Father's Day - WYFF4 Greenville

The weather system that was once Tropical Storm Claudette is bringing steady, sometimes heavy rain to parts of Georgia and the Carolinas Sunday.

The center of Claudette, which is now as tropical depression, is still circulating over Alabama, but the outer bands stretching into the Carolinas this morning, producing widespread rain across our area.

Most areas will pick up one-to-3 inches of rain, with areas in the Flash Flood Watch picking up an average of two-to-five inches of rain.
