God of War Ragnarok Update 3.002 Patch Notes Released - PlayStation LifeStyle

God of War Ragnarok update 3.002 for PS5 has been pushed today, January 23, with patch notes finally available.

According to the extremely short patch notes for update 3.002 on Santa Monica Studio’s official website, it “provides a partial fix to an issue where encounters may incorrectly respawn.” And well, that’s it.

For completeness, Santa Monica Studio calls this Patch Notes [v 03.02] in its database, following past convention.

One user says that it solves minor bug issues, including one that let the player continue the main story.

By comparison, Update 3.00 was a sizeable patch that added Photo Mode and fixed multiple instances of Kratos or his companions getting stuck behind objects.

Santa Monica Studio previously announced that the much-request New Game Plus mode is scheduled to arrive some time in Spring 2023.
