Introducing: The Tudor Black Bay Chrono Relaunch With Slimmer Case And New Dials - HODINKEE

Tudor has just unveiled a relaunch of the Black Bay Chrono, in commemoration of 50 years of the brand's chronograph-making efforts.

The watch comes in two configurations: black dial with white sub-dials, or white dial with black sub-dials.

Each one has the signature red text as well as a red arrow on the chronograph seconds hand (a feature carried over from the two-tone Black Bay Chrono).

But this is a relaunch – not just new dial colors.

This new release undoubtedly takes inspiration from the Rolex Daytonas of yore

Similar to Rolex, Tudor rolls things out slowly

The original Black Bay Chrono was a splashy release back in 2017

Well, this relaunch solves that problem – shaving just about a full millimeter off the height of the watch

In many ways, the Black Bay Chrono has touched two extreme ends of the design spectrum and now lands very much in a comfortable center

The new Black Bay Chrono is a heritage play, which is Tudor's wheelhouse

Model: Black Bay Chrono

Dial Color: Black or white
