Leaked footage of Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales booting on a PlayStation 5 has emerged online, and is already blowing minds.

By our calculations, it takes roughly seven seconds to boot the game, and just two seconds to load a save.

That 2 second save load made me say "holy s***" out loud?

I love how the title screen is just Miles chilling on the bus.

You just blink a few times and it's there.

I love the idea of "quick resume," but if all PS5 games are going to load this fast, who needs it.

That’s more important to me than how long it takes to load.

Most games auto save these days, but I still tend to save manually before I quit just out of habit (or paranoia, lol). This more than does the job for what I need. Still, I expect we'll still see Sony's version of "quick resume," regardless. We'll just have to wait and see....

Finally we're back to snes cartridge loading time, can't wait for ps5 😃?

@KeldorTheCursed My wee brother was absolutely raging because I accidentally quit his game in Valkyria Chronicles 3 on Vita as I just assumed it had a save option in the middle of battles. Games nowadays are a lot better at auto saving but mistakes still happen!?

Nice, I'm having to hard a time deciding if I want a ps5 or XSX first, leaning towards ps5 simply because I have a bunch of ps4 games to play but sold my ps4 in February, also want Demons souls but have no interest in paying full price and Spiderman also to much at launch I think. More then anything I want Halo infinite and would buy an XsX if it was coming anytime soon but who knows now.

I wasn't all to impressed with the original Spiderman. Might wait on this one see how it pans out. The load times are impressive though I must say.

I hope the guy that posted this is happy cos he just broke an embargo that wasn't ready till November 6th.

@Papasears Go wash your mouth and keyboard out, sacrilege of the highest order. Each to their own though, personally one of my games of the generation and one of the very few purchased and completed all the DLC for. MM looks much of the same though and a shorter game so wouldn't get your hopes up. True Spiderman 2 is where you'll see improvements that may help you to enjoy.

Anything under 10 seconds to jump into a game from a cold state will be fine with me.

If every game on PS5 doesn't load like this the PS5 will be a disappointment to me lol

Why do people act like this game is the only game loading fast and needs some article about the game everytime it blinks

Looking at some videos of older games like GTA5 or RDR loading at 4secs instead 1min 17secs on the ps4 thsts impressive a ps5 game loading fast like they promised...omg...shocker.

It will be really hard to play games on my Switch after this

Was about to say the same, it does almost negate the need to suspend your game

It was 11 seconds before he could interact with it, still very fast and loading into the game was mightily quick

Loading times are great and all but if the games garbage then you can have all the loading speed you won't but it still won't make the game not garbage xsx for me but I do admit what's crazy is Xbox loads faster to dash bord than the ps5 but there game loading is very similar still I'm looking forward to this gen but getting hold of one is a different matter
