Massachusetts health officials report 165 new COVID-19 cases, 10 additional deaths - WCVB Boston

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health reported an additional 165 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and confirmed 10 new COVID-19-related deaths across the state Monday, bringing the state's confirmed coronavirus death toll to 8,427.

In addition to the total of 110,595 confirmed cases in Massachusetts, state health officials also reported 34 new probable cases for a total of 8,062 probable cases.

As of Monday, 375 patients with the coronavirus were hospitalized in Massachusetts, a decrease of 31 patients in relation to what the state reported Sunday.
