As part of this, Nintendo has released a new special set of Zelda: Skyward Sword Joy-Con controllers?
Although the company has already made it clear the controllers are based on the design of the iconic Master Sword and Hylian Shield, it seems some fans have discovered a neat extra detail? As spotted by a user on the Nintendo Switch subreddit, depending on how you look at it, the wrist straps that come with this new Joy-Con set are the same pattern as the Master Sword grip (or Fi's legs, if you'd prefer). When he’s not paying off a loan to Tom Nook, Liam likes to report on the latest Nintendo news and admire his library of video games.Instead of gripping the Master Sword, the Master Sword is now gripping your wrists.I know they are for Skyward Sword and so they are technically correct but the pedant in me wants them the other way round so Link can be his normal leftie self...and Fi physically appeared in two (might also factor in Smash) games before the Joy Cons were released, so people already noticed the similarities of Fi to the Master Sword.
Got these on the way to me via Amazon right now.I was a bit sad they still 'click' when attached to the Switch instead of having a Zelda easter egg like the chest opening noise or something...?
@The_New_Butler but they are different Links in each game - so some are left handed and some are right handed.@BongoBongo Well while they are different Links only one has ever been right handed and that's because most people in the world are right handed and so when motion controls came along they changed it for this one game.Fi is the actual Master Sword herself so it's just more of what it already advertised was: the Master Sword joy-con.
How is that news that the Skyward Sword master sword joycon would use the visual designs of the master sword from Skyward Sword. At least he has been for about 16 years now right.
@The_New_Butler Your point stands, but technically both Wii Zelda games were right handed.@The_New_Butler As for the third Wii Zelda game, I think he was right handed in Link’s Crossbow Training tooSo Wii Link is right handed, Switch he is now ambidextrous and anything else he is left handedI thought this was the colour they going for as it’s skyward sword joycons"There you go, Nintendo"Review: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - A Remaster That Truly SoarsBest Zelda Games Of All TimeAll the Zelda games ranked, now with Skyward Sword HDVideo: Here's Digital Foundry's Technical Analysis Of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD On Nintendo SwitchRound Up: The Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Reviews Are InThe Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HDReview: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD - A Remaster That Truly SoarsZelda: Skyward Sword HD Guide - Walkthrough, Tips And HintsGuide Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Moonlight Merchant Items - How To Find The Moonlight MerchantGuide Zelda: Skyward Sword HD: Thunder Dragon's Lightning Round Prizes And Silent Realm Challenge TimesGuide Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Eye Door Puzzle - How To Open Eye Doors In Skyview TempleNews UK Charts: Zelda: Skyward Sword HD Soars Straight To Number OneRandom Nintendo Recreates Classic Zelda: Skyward Sword Moments In Smash BrosPopular Right Now30 Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games To Look Forward To In 2021Best Zelda Games Of All TimeRandom: The Zelda: Skyward Sword Joy-Con Appear To Featur..Valve's Steam Deck Hopes To Avoid Switch's Joy-Con Drift ..Where To Pre-Order Nintendo Switch OLED ModelRumour: Metroid Prime Trilogy For Switch Ready To Go, Acc..Nintendo Switch Pro: Everything We Know - 4K Visuals, Nvi..Random: That Guy Playing The Switch OLED In His Hallway I..Join 1,189,712 people following Nintendo Life:
