Currently, all of those in Phase 1A and Phase 1B of the state’s vaccine rollout plans are eligible for appointments.

Starting April 12, all of those in Phase 1C are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccines.

The mass vaccination clinic, located at Park City Center in Lancaster, is urging everyone to register, even if they aren’t yet eligible for the shots.

The clinic, based in a former Bon-Ton department store, has thousands of appointments available.

“We have ample supply of COVID-19 vaccine doses and are ready to accept eligible individuals for their shot of hope,” Coyle said.

Penn State Health encourages everyone who wants the vaccine to sign up now, regardless of eligibility.

Earlier this week, Penn State Health said the system was seeing a number of “no shows” for scheduled appointments, causing delays for others and increasing the chances of wasting vaccine.

Barbara Schindo, a Penn State Health spokeswoman, said the situation has improved but asks anyone who doesn’t need an appointment any longer to please cancel.

UPMC is encouraging all those in Phase 1A, 1B and 1C to register for vaccination appointments.

UPMC is teaming with the Allegheny County Health Department and the Pittsburgh Penguins for a Johnson & Johnson vaccine drive-up clinic at the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills in Tarentum on April 14 and 15.

The clinic has appointments available today and Saturday.

Those in Phase 1C can register now for appointments on or after April 12, the county said in a post on Twitter.
