Winter Weather Advisory issued for Metro Detroit, other counties until 4 p.m. Tuesday - WDIV ClickOnDetroit

DETROIT – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for 11 counties -- Genesse, Lapeer, Lenawee, Livingston, Macomb, Monroe, Oakland, Sanilac, St.

Between 3-5 inches of snow is expected to accumulate in Midland, Bay, Huron, Saginaw, Tuscola, Sanilac, Shiawassee, Genesee, Lapeer and St.

The snow is expected to move in north of the Interstate 69 corridor after 4 a.m.

Additionally, between 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation with “a light glaze of icing” is expected for Livingston, Oakland, Macomb, Washtenaw, Wayne, Lenawee and Monroe counties.
