Sharon Osbourne savagely attacks Amanda Holden for calling her 'bitter and pathetic'

(Image: Getty)Amanda, 53, had branded Sharon and her X Factor co-judge Louis Walsh "bitter and pathetic" after their comments about music mogul Simon in the Celebrity Big Brother house.

She told MailOnline in an interview published on Friday: "I hated seeing certain people in a reality show dissing Simon - he's the person who's given them all the chances, given them a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn't have had.

Now, Sharon, 71, has retaliated after taking issue with Amanda's claim that Simon gave her "all the chances, a lot of money and a lifestyle they probably wouldn't have had".

(Image: Getty)Sharon wrote in view of her 1.4 million followers: "The truth is, you don’t know me, Amanda, or any of my close friends.

There are many countries that I could work in if I choose to, however, I don’t have the ambition or time to do so... the truth is, my money and success were not due to doing a couple of Simon Cowell talent shows.

In one episode of the ITV reality show, Sharon claimed she missed out on doing The Masked Singer in the US because she had committed to a new series of The X Factor with Simon, which never went ahead.
