The January transfer window is rapidly progressing and there is a concerning update for Arsenal, who have reportedly been dealt a bitter setback in their pursuit of Mikel Arteta's priority target, Fiorentina ace Dusan Vlahovic.
The goalkeeper, 29, has been a standout performer for the Midlands club since joining from Arsenal for an initial £17million in September 2020.
"I think we have a strong enough squad to compete in the Premier League," Frank said.
"I do think a player or two would bring extra energy to the squad but I don't think it's essential.
"I think it can be more difficult [in January] depending on where players are coming from.".
Sticking with Tottenham, club captain Hugo Lloris has committed his future to the club by signing a new two-and-a-half-year contract.
Lloris has made 395 appearances for the club since joining from Lyon.
