Want to revisit the original iPhone launch? Or every iPhone launch, for that matter? I know just the place. 

The Apple Archive (via 9to5Mac) is a very, very meticulous collection of Apple-related videos and images, including press photos, event videos, ads and various promotional materials. 

It's all totally unofficial, but still very thorough. The first thing I searched for – a video of the first iPhone launch – was there alright (the page has a site-wide search, but you can also search within a particular year). Then I tried something a bit harder – press photos of the long-discontinued AirPort Express – and sure enough they were there too. You'll also find cool oldies such as Steve Jobs interviews, as well as certain rarities, like these unreleased ads for various products.  Read more...
